A transaction refers to an exchange of money, confirming the payment of a bill. It is inmutable and never changes.

A transaction is always linked to a bill, and can change the bills status to Paid if the linked bill is fully paid when receiving a transaction.

It is important to remark that a transaction and a bill can occur at different times due to the nature of their roles in the financial process.
