Get sales tracking into Facebooks conversion api

We provide integration with Facebook's Conversion API, enabling you to send purchase events directly to your Facebook Event Manager.

This integration facilitates the tracking of conversion values essential for optimizing your advertising campaigns.

Getting Started

To begin, you’ll need to set up a tracking pixel on Facebook and enable the Conversion API. Follow Facebook's detailed setup guide here: Using the Conversion API

Required Details

Once your tracking pixel is active, please provide your Pixel ID and Access Token to your Sesamy account manager. You can find instructions for obtaining these details in Facebook's "Get Started" guide.

Data We Send

Our backend will send the Purchase event via the API immediately after a transaction is completed. The default data payload for this event includes:

  • Email of the User: The email address associated with the user's account.
  • Country of the User: The country from which the purchase was made.
  • IP of the User: The IP address of the user at the time of purchase.
  • User-Agent of the Browser: Browser details used during the purchase.
  • FBC and FPB Parameters: These are captured automatically via sesamy.js and our web components during checkout. For custom setups, these must be manually added as query parameters to the checkout process.
  • Currency: The currency used for the transaction.
